Nantai Home Textiles Partners with Shanghai University of International Business and Economics to Jointly Advance a New Chapter in Brand Development

On October 17, the unveiling ceremony for the collaboration between Nantai Home Textiles and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (Songjiang Campus) was held, marking the official beginning of their partnership. As a core brand under the Frank.l.m Group, Nantai Home Textiles plays a vital role in this strategic cooperation, which holds great significance for both parties. Leaders from both within and outside the university, along with faculty and student representatives, attended the ceremony to witness the establishment of the Nantai Brand Development Research Institute at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. The event was hosted by Liu Genchun, Party Secretary of the School of Business Administration.

In his speech, President Wang Rongming emphasized that the establishment of the Nantai Brand Development Research Institute is a key initiative by the university to support local enterprises and the development of Chinese independent brands. The involvement of Nantai Home Textiles will inject new momentum into the university’s industry-academia-research collaboration. The institute will integrate resources from both the university and the enterprise to create a comprehensive platform that combines research, education, and other functions, contributing valuable insights and strength to the growth of Chinese brands. Nantai Home Textiles, in turn, will leverage this platform to enhance its brand image.

Mr. Chen Limin, Chairman of the Frank.l.m Group and a distinguished alumnus of the university, reflected on his deep ties with his alma mater. He stated that this partnership aims to explore new models of university-enterprise cooperation and to establish a specialized brand research base. The collaboration will not only support the university’s academic development but also strengthen Nantai Home Textiles’ brand influence, achieving mutual benefits. Through this partnership, Nantai will further enhance its brand building, improve product quality, and boost its market competitiveness.

Dean Jiang Xiuzhen of the School of Business Administration expressed gratitude for Nantai Home Textiles’ funding support and highlighted that the establishment of the research institute marks a new chapter in the integrated development of industry, academia, and research for the school. The school will promote the integration of management research with innovative practice, explore reforms in the cultivation of new business talents, and meet the demands for talent brought by emerging technologies and new business models. As a practical base, Nantai Home Textiles will provide more hands-on opportunities for students, helping to cultivate professionals who meet market needs.

At the ceremony, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the Frank L.M. Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for deep collaboration between both parties. President Wang Rongming, Director He Huanlang, Chairman Chen Limin, and Dean Jiang Xiuzhen jointly unveiled the plaque, marking the partnership’s move into a substantive phase. President Wang Rongming also presented appointment letters to the inaugural leadership team of the Research Institute, appointing Jiang Xiuzhen as Dean, Chen Limin as Co-Dean, and Xie Peihong as Executive Dean. This strong leadership team will ensure the institute’s robust development.

The conference featured a keynote speech by Dr. Wang Xinxin, a professor at the School of Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Wang shared cutting-edge concepts and profound insights on brand management, providing theoretical guidance for the future development of Nantai Home Textiles and all attendees, as well as the Research Institute.

The establishment of the Nantai Brand Development Research Institute at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics marks an important milestone in the complementary strengths and strong partnership between Nantai Home Textiles and its alma mater.
